WORKLOFT LOOP / 01

The Loop.

Workloft is run as a loop, not a roadmap. Research feeds the build. The build feeds what we publish. What we publish feeds the next piece of research. Nothing is a one-off. Everything compounds.

  • Three stages: Research, Ship, Publish.
  • One person at the centre. Eight agents on the perimeter.
  • Outputs feed inputs. Always.

STAGE 01 / RESEARCH

First we research.

Every weekday, the lab reads the field. New papers, new tools, new regulatory shifts. The output is Workloft Labs: a public, daily digest of what an AI lab should actually pay attention to that week.

  • Daily-curated, not algorithmic.
  • Calibrated to what changes a build, not what trends.
  • Published at workloft.ai/labs.html.

STAGE 02 / SHIP

Then we ship.

Research becomes code. Every ship is a real artefact, signed, audit-logged, and announced in plain English. The Ships log is how anyone can audit what Workloft actually built this week, this month, this year.

  • Cryptographically signed, with public-anchored proofs.
  • Built UK-region first, sovereign by default.
  • Logged at workloft.ai/ships, newest entry on top.

STAGE 03 / PUBLISH

Then we publish.

Every ship that can be open-sourced is. Code on GitHub, articles on the homepage, posts on LinkedIn and X. The point is not marketing. The point is that work shipped in public compounds: other people read it, react to it, and feed back into research.

  • github.com/workloftai/ships is the canonical mirror.
  • Articles and posts feed the next research cycle.
  • The loop closes here, and reopens at Research.
▸ PUBLIC / LIVE 03

And back to the start
STAGE 04 / RESET

And it loops.

Tomorrow morning, the lab reads the field again. With one more ship in the bank, one more public proof of how a one-person AI shop runs at scale. The Loop is the product. The website is the proof.

  • Daily cycle, weekly artefacts, quarterly compounding.
  • Nothing built once, then archived. Everything fed forward.
  • If you want the operating system, get in touch.

What it actually is, in plain English.

Most agencies and most one-person studios are run as roadmaps. Pick a thing, ship it, move on. The Workloft Loop is the opposite. Every piece of work is a single cycle of one continuous engine. The engine has three stages, and they feed each other.

01

Research

The lab reads the field every weekday morning. Papers, releases, regulator updates, customer signals. The interesting bits become Workloft Labs, a daily public digest. Internally it sets the backlog of what to build next.

02

Ship

We build the smallest thing that proves an idea. Sovereign by default, signed, audit-logged. Every ship is announced in plain English on the Ships log, with what changed and why it matters. If a build can be open-sourced, it is.

03

Publish

Code goes to github.com/workloftai/ships. Articles go on the homepage. Posts go to LinkedIn and X. None of this is marketing spend. It is the third stage of the engine: every public artefact surfaces new feedback, which seeds the next cycle of research.

Why a loop, not a roadmap.

A roadmap assumes the world holds still. The world does not hold still, so a roadmap is a wish list. A loop assumes the work changes the problem. You ship, the field reacts, your next research cycle accounts for the reaction, your next ship is sharper than the last. The Loop is what happens when you treat your own outputs as inputs.

Practically, that means the Workloft homepage you are reading this on is itself part of the Loop. So is the Ships log. So are the agents sitting on the VPS. So is this article. The whole thing is one engine running in public.

The Loop is the product.

Workloft sells AI builds, fractional CTO time, and managed compliance services. But the deeper offer, the one we are moving towards, is the operating system that lets one person run all of it: the Loop. Research, Ship, Publish, on repeat, with agents on the perimeter and a public audit trail down the middle.

If that is the kind of thing you want a copy of, in your business, get in touch. The shape of the engagement is half a day of discovery, two weeks of setup, and a working Loop you own after we leave.
