▸ WORKLOFT LOOP / DEEP DIVE
What it actually is, in plain English.
Most agencies and most one-person studios are run as roadmaps. Pick a
thing, ship it, move on. The Workloft Loop is the opposite. Every piece
of work is a single cycle of one continuous engine. The engine has
three stages, and they feed each other.
01
Research
The lab reads the field every weekday morning. Papers, releases,
regulator updates, customer signals. The interesting bits become
Workloft Labs, a daily public digest. Internally it sets the
backlog of what to build next.
02
Ship
We build the smallest thing that proves an idea. Sovereign by
default, signed, audit-logged. Every ship is announced in plain
English on the Ships log, with what changed and why it matters.
If a build can be open-sourced, it is.
03
Publish
Code goes to github.com/workloftai/ships. Articles go on the
homepage. Posts go to LinkedIn and X. None of this is marketing
spend. It is the third stage of the engine: every public artefact
surfaces new feedback, which seeds the next cycle of research.
Why a loop, not a roadmap.
A roadmap assumes the world holds still. The world does not hold still,
so a roadmap is a wish list. A loop assumes the work changes the
problem. You ship, the field reacts, your next research cycle accounts
for the reaction, your next ship is sharper than the last. The Loop is
what happens when you treat your own outputs as inputs.
Practically, that means the Workloft homepage you are reading this on
is itself part of the Loop. So is the Ships log. So are the agents
sitting on the VPS. So is this article. The whole thing is one engine
running in public.
The Loop is the product.
Workloft sells AI builds, fractional CTO time, and managed compliance
services. But the deeper offer, the one we are moving towards, is the
operating system that lets one person run all of it: the Loop.
Research, Ship, Publish, on repeat, with agents on the perimeter and
a public audit trail down the middle.
If that is the kind of thing you want a copy of, in your business, get
in touch. The shape of the engagement is half a day of discovery, two
weeks of setup, and a working Loop you own after we leave.
